A Christmas Symphony: A Celebration of Music, Dedication, and Community

This week, our hearts were filled with joy and gratitude as the WZFS community came together for a spectacular event—"A Christmas Symphony"—our annual Christmas concert. The concert featured breathtaking performances by the WZFS Orchestra and our primary choir, showcasing the talent, hard work, and dedication of our bobaes and staff.

The orchestra, under the skilled direction of Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Ruth, delivered stirring renditions of timeless classics like O Holy Night and We Are the World. Meanwhile, the primary choir captured the spirit of the season with heartfelt performances of As the Deer and Born on Christmas Day, among other festive songs. The music was a testament to months of preparation and passion poured into every note by our students and their dedicated instructors.

The atmosphere was electric, as a large crowd gathered well before the concert even began, eager to catch a glimpse of the rehearsals and preparations. The anticipation and excitement were palpable, reflecting the high regard our community has for this annual celebration.

What many may not see, however, is the incredible effort behind the scenes that makes an event like this possible. Our bobaes, teachers, and staff worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect—from moving large instruments and equipment to setting up sound, video, and audio systems, arranging chairs, and managing the logistics of performance schedules. It was an all-day endeavor, requiring teamwork, precision, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Parents of our bobaes also played an integral role, stepping in to assist with various tasks and ensuring the day went smoothly. Their support exemplifies the strong partnership between WZFS and our families, a cornerstone of our mission to foster a nurturing and united community.

In the end, "A Christmas Symphony" was more than just a concert—it was a celebration of the spirit of WZFS. It highlighted the profound impact our school has on the community and reaffirmed our commitment to servant leadership, demonstrating leadership through service to our beautiful city.

On behalf of everyone at WZFS, we extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this season bring joy, peace, and blessings to you and your loved ones!
