WZIS Sports Day: A Perfect Day for Competition and Community
After being postponed due to weather, Sports Day finally arrived under clear skies and perfect conditions. Our houses—Hawks, Moose, and Wolves—all came together, eager to give their best in an exciting lineup of activities that showcased both skill and spirit.
Each grade level participated in a range of competitions, from classic sack races and arm wrestling to soccer, basketball, track and field, and much more. It was a day filled with energy, laughter, and friendly rivalry as students, parents, and teachers enthusiastically joined in. The spirit of participation was alive in every event, and the sportsmanship on display was exceptional. Whether celebrating a victory or learning from a loss, everyone shared a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the incredible support from our WZIS community. Parents, teachers, and staff all played a part in making the day seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved. Special thanks go to Coach Eri, whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes were instrumental. From coordinating the activities and managing logistics to ensuring food, water, uniforms, hats, and sports equipment were ready for the day—every detail was taken care of. Field preparations, sound and audio setup, and the organization of the events for our youngest participants, the bobaes, required tremendous effort and teamwork.
We are so grateful to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy to make Sports Day a memorable event. From trophies and medals to the smiles on everyone’s faces, it was truly a day to remember. Thank you, WZIS community, for coming together and showing what makes our school special!
