13th Annual WZFS Science Fair: A Celebration of Innovation and Perseverance
Last Friday, the WZFS campus buzzed with excitement and curiosity as we hosted the 13th Annual Science Fair. This year’s event was nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing the remarkable creativity, scientific knowledge, and ingenuity of our middle and high school bobaes.
What made the fair truly special was the diverse audience that filled the halls—teachers, proud parents, and even our youngest primary bobaes—all eager to see what the older bobaes had been working on. And they did not disappoint! From thought-provoking experiments to real-world solutions for sustainability challenges and intricately designed engineering projects, the fair was a testament to the bright minds of our bobaes.
Among the many impressive displays, a selection of outstanding projects advanced to the finals, where the bobaes presented their work on stage. It was here that their depth of understanding truly shone. Finalists fielded challenging questions, defended their methodologies, and explained their discoveries with confidence and poise. The pressure was high, but the bobaes rose to the occasion.
What’s even more remarkable is that all of this was done in English—an impressive feat considering it’s not their first language. On top of that, as visitors explored their booths, the bobaes presented their projects in two additional languages, showcasing their versatility and dedication to communication. Watching them engage so effectively across three languages and connect with such a diverse audience was inspiring and a proud moment for our entire WZFS community.
Congratulations to all our bobaes for their incredible efforts, and a special shoutout to the finalists who shone brightly under the spotlight. You made us proud with your hard work, resilience, and passion for science. Great job, bobaes!
Here’s to nurturing more innovators and problem-solvers in the years to come!
