A Day of Fun and Adventure: WZIS Field Trips to Weihai’s Wildlife Park and Theme Park!

Today, nearly every bobae and teacher at WZIS stepped away from the classroom and into the wonders of Weihai for an unforgettable field trip day! After finishing their midterms on Thursday, the kids were more than ready for a break—and WZIS wanted to make sure they got the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and discovery. A tremendous amount of logistical planning and coordination went into making these trips possible, but the smiles and laughter made every bit of effort worthwhile.

Our middle and high school bobaes headed to the Weihai Shendiaoshan Wildlife Park. There, they had the opportunity to come face-to-face with some incredible wildlife, including tigers, zebras, gorillas, pandas, and so many more animals! Bobaes not only got a close-up view of these animals, but they also snapped some memorable photos and even had the chance to feed a few. The awe and excitement were unmistakable, with each animal encounter sparking curiosity and joy among them.

Meanwhile, our younger primary bobaes took on the thrills of a local Weihai theme park. From bumper cars to snow play areas, obstacle courses, and even a mini racetrack, the little bobaes had an incredible day filled with adventure and laughter. The theme park was the perfect playground to let loose, explore, and create memories they’ll be talking about for weeks.

The whole day was a huge success thanks to the collective effort of our management team, administrative staff, and teachers. The management team handled the logistical heavy lifting, while our administrative staff ensured clear communication. Our teachers, as always, were superheroes—coordinating activities, guiding their groups, and, most importantly, making sure every bobae had a safe and joyful experience.

From the moment they stepped off the buses, it was clear: they had played as hard as they studied, rounding off a week full of focus and fun. Days like these remind us how lucky we are at WZIS to balance learning with adventures that build lifelong memories. Stay tuned for more, because our schedules here are always packed with excitement!
